Chiropractic is a natural, holistic approach to health care. It is safe and effective for all ages and members of the family.

Chiropractors concentrate on spinal function - alignment and movement of the spine, along with the relationship of the spine and nervous system.

Chiropractors rely greatly on their hands and their sense of touch, to find both misalignments and fixations and then to improve spinal function.

At Set Chiropractic in Geelong, we use a range of techniques including spinal adjustments, low force adjustments, stretches, and muscular and soft tissue therapies.

Chiropractors obtain a high standard level of education. The 5 year university course includes subjects such as; Anatomy and physiology, Neurology, Diagnosis, Radiology and Chiropractic Technique; as well as over 2000 hours of clinical training.

Members of the chiropractic profession are registered and regulated by a government body; The Chiropractors' Registration Board.
Chiropractic Services are available to Workcover, TAC, and Veteres Affairs clients and are claimable with Health Insurance extras.

DRY NEEDLING

At Set Chiropractic, we listen to your health issues and concerns and use a wide range of techniques to get you feeling your best again.

Dry Needling aims to reduce pain and restore function of a muscle that have become chronically shortened .These muscles are not able to lengthen back to a relaxed state after use. The use of tiny needles are painlessly inserted into the muscle to help it lengthen to a relaxed state.

CUPPING

In conjunction with a Chiropractic Adjustment, Myofascial Cupping occurs when cups are placed over a targeted area creating a vacuum suction via a mechanical pump onto the skin. The cup is usually left in place for sometime. It may prevent stagnation of blood and lymph; thereby improving flow. Cupping may be used for many musculoskeletal conditions.
